No matter where you live, I’m sure you’ve heard of baby Fiona by now. I hear a whole lot about her since I live in Cincinnati.
She was born in the Cincinnati Zoo 6 months ago and she was premature. They didn’t think she was going to survive, but she pulled through and she’s doing just fine now.
She’s a cutie, definitely an awesome animal, and the city has rallied around her in ways that are almost disgusting. There’s a local T-Shirt shop selling Fiona Tees, there’s a local ice cream maker that just made an ice cream flavor in her honor, yada yada. Regardless, it’s good to see she pulled through, and I hope her the best, even when she gets older and craves human flesh.
I would fill you in on more of her story, but the cheesy song that plays during this video will tell you everything you need to know, in a folksy sort of way.
If you would like to participate, feel free to use the “YouTube Tuesday” title in your post, and if you do, you can ping back here to help your blog get more exposure. To execute a ping back, just copy the URL in the address bar on this post, and paste it somewhere in the body of your post. Your link will show up in the comments below. Please ensure that the YouTube Tuesday you’re pinging back to is this week’s! Otherwise, no one will likely see it but me.
NOTE: Pingbacks only work from WordPress sites. If you’re self-hosted or are participating from another host, like Blogger, please leave a link to your post in the comments below.
The best part of this is, checking out all of the pingbacks and seeing what videos everyone else is into. Maybe you’ll discover something new!
Here is the official (my official, anyway) banner for YouTube Tuesdays. Use it if you like, just right click and save picture as.
